Question about 2002 GMC Envoy
Aftermarket remote start was installed 2 years ago and truck work fine until 2 months ago.new gin switch was installed but no result.
The remote start bypasses the ignition portion of the antitheft security system to allow you to remotely start the truck. But the system still needs the signal from the key to allow the vehicle to remain running and drive. I would assume the ignition is bad or needs to be trained to the system if it was replaced.
