This is a warning light in the diff that is telling you that the diff oil temp is outside operating parameters . It can be from low oil level in the diff , failing bearings , or simply an under inflated tyre ( flat) that is making the side gears work when they shouldn't be thereby generating extra heat for the oil

Centre diff warning light flashing constantly, also stability programme light showing "off"

The centre diff is the vehicle's transfer case, the gearbox which switches to 4wd or all wheel drive. It is inter active with the stability system, so when on senses a fault, it'll send an error message to the other system. Have it checked by a technician who can plug in a scanner that will help pinpoint the source of the problem.

Mitsubishi shogun has transmission warning light

if the shift is being made and the car is in gear it will not change ,in some cases it is necesary to reverse a few times to allow shifts to occur if this still fails you could have a sticky solonoid ,these are mounted on the r/f inner guard there are two of the next to each other make sure there is vacume at the solonoids as the car will allways fail in 4wd mode it requires vacume to allow it to disengage the front diff on start up,that is why there is a grinding noise if you switch off the motor and free wheel to a stop the front diff tries to engage

Abs warning light comes on and stays on whilst driving had abs system checked for codes comes up with no fault codes found. light cant be turned off until u switch off the engine and turn back on again....

if the sensor is located on the diff. sometimes the lube in diff gets lots of metal shaving and they collect on tip of abs sensor and cause it to ground out to triger light on if this is the case you have to have diff. flushed and refilled with fresh lube.

These are outside temp. warning lights. The Yellow light goes on when the outside temp. dips to 40 degrees to let you know that there is a possibility of frost. The Red light goes on when outside temp. dips to 30 degrees suggesting a possibility of icy conditions.
