I didnt start having this problem til I drove around 346 miles. It might be that the car is old. But for some reason when ever I drive the car it seems to idle very roughly and shake like its going to die. I have to put it into neutral or park for it to settle down.
Sometimes if its been going for a while and I start to drive it sounds like the fuel or something couldnt catch up with the car.
I have no problem starting it and I've gotten a fuel filter replacement, pcv valve replacement, and the mechanic said it doesnt need a tune-up.
You might try a new throttle position switch, they're easy to replace and not too expensive .
