These have a bad problem with the blower motor resister it looks like a computer chip and should be on the passenger side of the heater box ( will see two 7/32 or 7mm head screws holding it). there should be a plug with 4 or 5 wires in the center of it. when you take it out you may see black spots on it (looks burnt)

2004 chevy tahoe a/c only turns on on certain numbers

I assume you are referring to the blower speed. That is usually caused by a bad blower speed resister located next to the blower motor.

The fan in my 2001 chevy tahoe doesnt work on 1 or 2 but 3 through 5 are fine

Usually a sign of a faulty blower resistor. The resistor changes the amperage of the circuit to change the blower speed.
You can look the part up online to get a visual.

The blower on my 04 Tahoe is only working on setting #5. The resistor has been replace twice now and I'm currently at the dealership for a third one. Any ideas?

WHEN THE RESISTOR IS CHANGED THEY SHOULD ALSO REPLACE THE HARNESS THAT PLUGS ON THE RESISTOR. IT'S PRICEY, BUT NECESSARY .

I have a 2004 Pacifica and the blower motor runs on high all the time, can't get it to work on slower speeds

The high blower works off a relay in the high speed only so the fan switch is at fault on your vehicle
Replace the fan blower control speed switch which is the one you adjust the lower fan speeds

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe . The heater and a/c fan only works on the highest speed #5. How do you repair this problem?

Check the blower motor resistor. It is on the passengers side by the blower motor under the dash. The resistor is connected to the blower motor and controls the blower speeds. They are known for going bad. Also check the connectors because they get hot and will melt.If they are melted then you will have to replace the connectors. You can get these from the dealership.Replace the blower motor resistor too.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Noise in heater fan 2004 Tahoe . It sounds like a bird is in the dash

sounds like the bearings in the blower motor are going bad, try taking the motor out, ground the case of the motor and see if the sound is still there, if so replace the blower motor, sometimes a little WD40 works wonders, get back to me and let me know how you make out,we'll go from there Thanks Ray

2005 yukon blower fan works intermittently

The speed switch for your fan is probably bad, GM is bad for this. When you turn your fan on, slowly go from low to high to see if there is a difference in each. The high normally goes first, then the low, followed by the two other ones. I hope this helps.

Air conditioning blower speeds

sound to me like you have a blower fan problem. its not uncommon for the fan to "burn out on the lower speeds due to those being the most commonly used speeds. double check with your mechanic to be sure. blower motors aren't hard to replace but the prices vary alot based on type.
