Question about 2005 Honda Accord
Every time I change the oil in my 2005 Honda Accord Coupe the check engine light engine appears and the car bucks and nearly stalls for the first 20 miles or so after the oil change. The O2 sensor has been repeatedly replaced..... What's up, and why does the problem reappear every time I get the oil changed?
This happens because the oil filter needs to be free of air. When the oil pressure sensor drops below a certain value it shuts off the injectors because the PCM. This is a good feature because if you run out of oil for any reason it should stop the engine before damage occurs.
