I have a 2012 Ram 2500 with a 5.7 Hemi, I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the camshaft position sensor.

The camshaft position sensor on a 2012 Ram 2500 with a 5.7L Hemi engine is located on the front of the engine, near the timing cover. The sensor is responsible for detecting the position of the camshaft and relaying this information to the engine control module (ECM).
To access the wiring diagram for the camshaft position sensor, you will need to consult the service manual for your vehicle. The wiring diagram will provide you with the location and function of each wire in the camshaft position sensor circuit.
The service manual for your vehicle can usually be purchased from the manufacturer or from a third-party provider. You may also be able to access the service manual online, although this will typically require a subscription or fee.

Where to locate the camshaft sensor on a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse 3.0 v6 can't find it any where

My wiring diagram for your vehicle doesn't show a camshaft position sensor, neither does my online parts book.
My wiring diagram does show a top dead center sensor besides the crank sensor, and it shows to be in distributor assembly. Whether that is integrated into that assembly or can be serviced separately, I don't know?

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer V6 4.0L I am trying to find out were my Camshaft Position Sensor is located and can i get to it without having to remove any other parts such as air intake lines or anything...

It should be on the drivers side valve cover directly to the rear of the the oil fill cap, should have one bolt that holds it in place with two wire connector on it.

Camshaft sensor and catalytic converter

Sometimes one problem causes many more. The camshaft sensor should be easy to access. Go to a good parts store and have a look at the diagram for part location. You may not need a Catalytic converter yet.

If the camshaft sensor went crazy you will not fire on all cylinders. Therefore the exhaust mixture will be rich and can damage the Catalytic converter. But when the repairs are made to the Camshaft sensor, give it some time to run correctly and see if the Catalytic converter clears up.

As with any repair, disconnect the NEG battery cable for 10 minutes to clear the old codes. Then use the car and let the car go for 300 miles or so to purge the Catalytic converter of excess fumes. Then if you need a newer Catalytic converter its almost like installing a muffler. You may need a special socket to change out O2 sensors from old to new.

Costs vary, Sensors are $20 to $50. Catalytics can be expensive, but Salvage yards have them used.

Locating camshaft positioning sensor on 2000 Daewoo Laganza

hi,
it is under the upper timing belt cover between the camshaft gears. According to the manual touching anything related to timing belt requires removing million parts including right front wheel. I suspect this might be an overkill just to remove upper timing belt cover.

So my advice would be to get it done by some mechanic as u will not be able to do it and may damage other parts also.

Thanks!
Sandy
