Lock out cap for 2000 Ford Excursion

It is a very rare thing to happen.

If it is not a leaking hose then the only other thing it could be is a cracked engine block. Could be a heater hose.

Could have a leaking injector. Or fuel line with a small hole or crack,

Return to the shop that just relaced the joints

That's a tough one. Maybe the tie rod ends are worn or other parts in the front end.

look online or go to the dealer and find a reprogramming procedure.

If you look on the ends of the struts you will see little metal clips. Use a small screwdriver to slide them off, the the strut will pull right out.(almost fall out)

it sounds like your hubs are going bad. when you disengage your 4x4 try backing up a few feet. this might help them release

its not a snap ring in the sence that there are no holes for the pliers.use a small screw driver and something to hook it with. it sits inside the of where the hub slides in. after removing the hub might not easily come out. WD-40 and a large pair of channel locks may be required. by the way the hub itself is not vacuum operated. its engaged by a sprag unit that works when power is supplied by the axles rotating.

This is common. the locks due tend to freeze up and need either a greasing or replacement. I do suggest automatic locking hubs that you don't have to turn yourself. You can get the part almost anywhere
