Either the belt is loose or there is a compressor issue (either the clutch or the compressor is most likely shot)

I used these guys for my last one to have it shipped to me. If you haven't done this before it is not an easy DIY job (you need a vaccum pump, and gauges to do it correctly

On a freezer should the snowflake button be in or out

The snowflake button is most likely a "Fast Freeze" feature. It should be in the OFF position. There is usually a small light that goes on if it is in the ON position. Press the button once. If a light comes on press the button again to turn it off again.
The feature is for rapid freezing larger items and works by bypassing the thermostat that regulates the freezer temperature, causing the freezer to run at max power continuously. It should only be used occasionally.

you need to get your ac serviced and computer checked for an air conditioning system code/malfunction. when the light in the button flashes it means a problem has set a code in your body control module that controls the ac.

How do I turn on my air conditioning on my 2005 caravan. I do not have an owners manual. Thank you.

Looking at your climate control panel, you should see a square button on the upper right section with a snowflake symbol on it.

Depressing this button should cause an amber LED to light when the blower fan is on, and activate the AC compressor.

You will also activate the compressor when you select defrost with the mode knob.

Flashing lights

Hi, had the same problem today. Solution: Start engine, blower on max, air direction to cabin, press rear wiper and rear wash buttons simulanteously for 5 seconds (all lights now on steady). Calibration test starts and lights flsh alternately. After first test, AC and recurculation lights flash for the cool down test. If all test pass then rear wiper light blinks slowly (press to exit self test). If AC and recurculation test fails then just 2 lights stay on. To repeat this part of the test press just AC and rear wash simulanteously ( may take several attempts and usually best when engine is cold). Again exit by pressing the rear wiper button once it is the only one flashing (slow blink).

This does work but it took me 15 minutes to finally switch them off!!!
