Taillight fuse keeps blowing

I have a 2003 suzuki aerio, the fuse for the side markers, taillights(not brake lights) and part of the dash lights(heater knobs and gear shift) keeps blowing. The car has had nothing electrical added and basically is only used twice a week for the last year to teach my son to drive. i will,be giving it to him when he gets his license.

You have to unscrew one or two screws (don't remember) to remove the whole light assembly (need the hatch or trunk open to access screws). The solution is work from outside the car not inside.

Keep blowing fuse for rear taillights and dashboard lights

Sounds like loose wires. Had a similar problem with my 03 Durango. Kept blowing fuses when I put them in. Came to find out my trailer wiring harness had fried and was shorting out.

98 saturn fuse keeps blowing

Yes, the timing of the start of the problem indicates it's something that happened then. It could be a wire on the assembly was pinched or covering damaged by a screw holding it in place. How quickly did it blow the 1st replaced fuse? Let me know how u make out.
