Right headlight constantly wiggles loose

Ever since I bought the vehicle, the light keeps wiggling loose. It's still attached to the wiring, but the bulb is not working. How can I get it to stay in? Can I just use electrical tape and ensure it stays in, or is it a wiring issue that Toyota has to fix?

SOURCE: 99 toyota sienna right turn signal lights up when headlight are on. It dosn't flash through flasher or manually, works fine when headlight switch is off

Chances are you have a short or a bad ground in the circuit.
I would check for voltage and ground at the sockets for that side.
The parking light voltage is grounding thru the turn signal side thru the indicator lamp on the dash.

Headlight keeps flashing or flickering. Checked my battery cables and wiggled my wiring, looked for bare wires with no results. What else should I check?

If you would like some suggestions you need to add the make, model and year of the vehicle . Just one head light or both ? Inside light flicker at all ?

Right headlight goes out and stayes out for weeks and then comes back on

Possible bad ground connection at headlight wiring connector. Check for any burned/loose wiring at the connector. You can also try wiggling the connector at the headlight ( when the light is out ) to see if it will come back on

I have a 85 chevy van G20. When I turn on the head lights, the right hand turn signal light comes on and stays on in the dash. And the right headlight and amber turn signal is very dim. The other

there is a loose connection as you have found out by wiggling the wires so a further investigation will be required , find out which wire/s are loose and repair , most likely the earth wire to the chassis/body

N\s side lights keep going out on my 2002 a6 avant

I would seek out a loose body ground or ground wire all the way in to the instrument cluster do wiggle test or everything when this happens at night is best so you can see the results have a friend shake and wiggle wires under the hood and see if one spot he is at wiggling wires fixes this problem then investigate that area well. All connections in that area must be double checked.

HEADLIGHT

both head lights would go out if the switch was bad.. check wiring to bulb. center wire will be ground use test light to figure out what colour for low n high, use battery ground to verify positive feeds reverse test light to battery positive to verify ground in plug, wiggle harness while you test to see if maybe there is a break in wire close to headlamp, also check fuse box sum cars will have separate fuses for headlights hi n low r and left.

The dash lights turn on and off while driving at night. It appears they will go out and stay out one of these times! What's going on?

Problems of this nature are usually a loose or broken ground wire. The loose wire jiggles & wiggles around when the vehicle is in motion, thus, the wire touches & untouches producing the blinking dash lights.

My right front headlight goes off at night but stays on during the day ? is this a fuse problem or a sensor problem or wiring problem ?

I would check the connection at the bulb. Check the wires and connector by wiggling them with lights on to see if they go off. Sounds like loose wire at connector. Daytime running lights are on a separate fuse and wiring.

How do I remove my headlights on my 2008 dodge charger

The bulb is held in by a round screw in plastic clasp. Simply turn it counter clockwise a quarter turn & it out. Wiggle the bulb loose & unplug the wire. The headlight complete assembly is a different story & one I can't type out.
