Torque settings hello I need the torque settings for a 1999 mazda B2600 G6 engine Head and Rockers Please

probably up to 95 B2600 or later
if you are looking for a different make of engine altogether, the transmission bolt up may be a problem
remember ford ranger and mazda B are the same manufacturer just a badge difference

This will surely solve your problem.I got mine solved too.

petrol engine will be around 35lb conrod and and with a aluminium head about 65 lbs to be correct but i just pull them up till it feels right ,well looked in all data book for you and its on about 35nm then turn 80% and retighten 90% or some such junk same as the head bolts ,so pull the con rod bolts up with a rachet and this will be about right and the head bolts with a decent snap on bar till you get two ripples in the bicep and this will be about right for a ally head somewhere around 65/70 lbs mark ,please remember that on the assembly line at 3 engines a minute coming along the head bolts are tightened up all at once with one big air gun .None of this silly turn it and release and turn again lark ,do you have any idea how much one of them angle reading torque wrenches cost?? .

egr position sensor aka the dpfe is often the culprit, its mounted on the firewall and has an electric connector and vaccum lines going to it.

its not just the camshaft timing marks you set up, you also have to have the crankshaft timing mark set right to or you may damage your engine
check the internet for the right timing procedure for you model car ok

i have seen some mazda motors having busted cam shafts, so that's the only thing i can think of. if you didn't say behind the throtle body, i would say you have a busted piston but i doubt that's the case here.

New Headbolts are recommended

Long bolts are torqued to 46'lbs + 90 degrees.

Short bolts are torqued 43'lbs + 90 degrees.

Start in the center, and work to the edges, torquing the bolts in two stages.

Rockers are torqued to 22'lbs.

the flywheel is 50 -60 ft.lbs....pressure plate is 15- 25 ft. lbs..
