Could be window switch or motor. Try to find diagnostic steps to isolate
the problem. Parts are too expensive for trial and error

SOURCE: 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Driver Door Lock/Unlock Switch

sorry not sure the 12v prob will help this swtich works on 5v off 3v unlock 1v lock single wire lock/unlock logic signals
I found wiring diagrams at
http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2004/docs/wd/rswd/tc.pdf
it is 2004 but use the wiring diagrams to test the wires
(most likely to fail where they flex)
because it is using logic gates disconnect the plug at each end of the wire you are testing or the damn thing will find a few diffrent ways to trick you.

SOURCE: 2005 dodge grand caravan sliding door problems

could be a partially broken wire in the wiring harness that runs in the door track. the wires are inside what looks like a plastic chain that allows it to move with the door and have seen them partially break not allowing power to flow the whole time

SOURCE: 1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

SOURCE: 2000 dodge durango driver side window problem

durangos have many problems with the windows motors and regulators, I know for personal experience , because I have one, ...when you try rolling the windows down do you hear any noise coming from inside the door..if so.. the cable is busted ..you will need the windows regulator, if no, is probably the motor..you will have to check for power and ground right at the motor connector...if power and ground are present, then you need a motor ....in mine ,I pull the motor and cleaned , and they have been fine for more than a year, I starter with one and them had to do the same to all of them..hope this help

2005 Dodge Durango passenger window wont go down from drivers side switch

It sounds like everything else and the wiring is okay, only that button on the driver's switch is not working. I would try a new switch, if you see nothing wrong with the electrical plug for it when you take it off.
If that down wire was broken somewhere from the driver switch to the passenger door, I don't think the driver's switch would work for it either way, up or down. And same, neither would the passenger switch work. I think the button for down is not making contact somehow, and right in the switch.

Power window do not go up or down

No windows work from any switch? If so, it's possible that power to the master switch on the driver's side door is lost, or the switch is bad.
Pull the switch out, and check for power on one wire (I think it's a tan wire) there with key on. If no power there, then the power wire might be broke where it enters door.
Often, when no windows work, it's a grounding problem. I believe the ground for the windows is behind the left kick panel (driver's). Take off the kick panel and check for a ground there to be clean and tight.

Own a 1996 Dodge Caravan. Power window doesn't work on drivers side, nor for the rear side windows. Replaced the power window switch and this did not solve the problem. The only window that works is...

nitescot, What you can try is to open up the rubber boot running from the body of the vehicle to the door. The constant opening and closing of the door will sometimes cause the wires inside the boot to break. This is a common problem when it comes to power windows. Open the boot with a knife being careful not to damage the wires inside. Look for any broken wires. Repair as necessary. Good luck with this.

Power windows: passenger window does not go up or down, checked the fuses under the steering wheel column on the driver side and the passenger side. switched the fuses from the side that doesn't work...

Switching Fuses proved nothing

Don't have a volt meter ?

Did you check out any of the window switches ?

If not the switch, then door panel comes off & you
test the motor

Drivers side power window will not operate

Hello
I assume the window will not operate from either door switch? If this is the case then you will need to likely replace the power window motor and power window regulator Assembly (this is what attaches to the glass and raises and lowers it).
Below you will find an instructional link to a video of the entire job on YouTube, it is the same for both front doors. The video comes from a company named 1Auto. Watch it through at least once before you decide whether you want to attempt the repair, it is fairly difficult. This is a common problem on the Dodge Caravan.

Just bought a 2005 Dodge Grand caravan and after 1000 miles ( it now has 64,000), the CEL came on with code 40406 which I think means the EGR valve needs replacing. I am trying to find a diagram. Also...

I have had the same problem with my 3.8L 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. I just replaced the EGR and that stopped the code on mine (P0404). The Dodge place had to have the VIN to tell me if it had option ZXX which was a mid year marker which it did on mine. The EGR was purchased at O'Reilly's for $79.99 with option ZXX or $69.99 without. The EGR is right of the alternator and looks sort of like one the new small coke cans with a small pipe going to the top of the engine and a plug facing the front of the van. It was a little hard to get to the bottom bolt (10mm) since it is tight and close to the alternator. I used a 1/4" drive socket with a short extension and then needle nosed pliers and it worked slow but was better than removing the alternator.
I found advise on this website about the power window which said to turn the key on with the door open and hold the window switch the direction it needs to go and SLAM hard with the button still held. It worked the first time (after holding the lock switch by mistake first)!
I hope this helps, mine is fixed on both counts now.
I don't know about the brake, mine works...

2002 power window dodge caravan pass side window wont go up or down. works w/ the main dr side control. where would the fuse be for this component? any other thoughts to fix this cheaply

The only problem with this vehicle is that it needs a new window switch on the passenger side door.If the main switch on the drivers door works and the one on the door that the window won't go up on won't work it replace the switch on that door they all work on the same fuse.

Right front door window will not roll down.

Assuming it's electric, it could be the switch or the window motor/regulator. If possible try swapping the driver's side switch to the passenger's. If it works - switch, if it doesn't, most likely the window motor, located behind the door panel.
