I have a similar problem. Posted it as 92 Land Cruiser check engine light out and engine won't start. When I turn the ignition key to the on position and the check engine light is on, the engine starts everytime. Once it starts and I turn the engine off, it won't start again. I solved my problem today. It was a bad EFI relay. Found on another site that 91 and 92's had EFI replay problems. Checked it out with an ohm meter and it had an open coil circuit. Replaced it problem solved.

Hi there, check that yr ballast resistor is working properly if it has one - other than that it could be the computer has a glitch or a sensor is loose or not connected properly!!!!Check the air filter isnt clogged 2!!! When did it start doing it - Has the car been recently through water or real dusty roads??? Good luck!!!!
rule of 9 4 cyl or rule of 13 if a 6 cyl----- number 9 down and adjust no1 ,no8 down and adjust no2 and so on ,same thing applies to the rule of 13 ,,,,,no12 down and adjust no 1 = 13 easy isnt it ,not sure of tappet setting but 12 inlet and 14 exhaust suits 99% of vehicles
the pipes and connections have swolen up and the leak has stopped which is normal i would expect this ,if vehicle is left for any length of time it will start leaking again .As old saying goes if its working leave well alone
check the iac. idle air controller is not stuck. it is on the throttle body.do a scan for a code ,that will save time and money.check all wires and the basics of a tune up and good connectors
Hi,if all your connections are good,it sounds like the alternator. I would take the battery out and charge it,then load test it.If it checks good.Take the alternator to autozone or advance and have it checked.Good Luck!!!
