You haven't included much info. Assuming you don't have mechanical engine issues... Here's a stab at it. Make SURE you have EXCELLENT ground connections AND VERY clean terminal connections. The best way is to Remove your battery cables at BOTH ends, CLEAN them (and the battery posts) and Replace, ensuring that they are tight when re-connected. If they are in poor condition, then REPLACE them with new ones.

I have a 97 isuzu rodeo, starter just clicks, had this problem before and i adjusted the neutral switch and it started, now it doesn't start even after adjustment. how can i know if the neutral switch...

This may actually be a problem with the starter solenoid and not the neutral safety switch. If when you try to start the vehicle and you are only getting a clicking, then I would replace the starter solenoid which is typically found on the passenger side firewall. If not there, then on the starter itself.

Charging problem. Have a 97 isuzu rodeo 2wd put new alt and battery in it and when I put a load on the volt meter drops to 12.7. At idle it's on 14 . Why is it doing this?

Because of the load. It will drop in voltage, this is normal. As long as it stays above 12 you will be fine. But just to be sure start the car and turn everything on, then check the voltage. If it stays at 12.7 it's good.

Vehicle pops when trying to start on occasion. Will run battery down and once getting jump vehicle starts. Diagnostic port also not working?

YOU NEED TO CHECK ALL THE FUSES WITH A GOOD FUSE TESTER. I USE A 12 VOLT CIRCUIT TESTER, { LOOKS LIKE A TRANSPARENT ICEPICK, WITH A WIRE COMING OUT OF THE BACK & AN ALLIGATOR CLAMP ON THE END OF THE WIRE}. THERE ARE TWO FUSEBOXES, 1 UNDER THE HOOD, I INSIDE THE VEHICLE. ALL FUSES CAN BE TESTED WHILE STILL IN THE FUSEBOX. THERE ARE TEST POINTS FACING OUT. POWER ON ONE SIDE ONLY, FUSE IS BAD. POWER ON BOTH SIDES, FUSE IS GOOD. POWER ON NEITHER SIDE, SPARE FUSE.

Everything has power when i turn the key to the on position but when i turn the key to start the truck, nothing happens. headlights dont dim or anything and everything still has power. all fuses are...

When you crank the engine are you getting a full 12 volts positive at the solenoid switch on the top of the starter?

Have you got a full 12 volts negative to the switch?

Also, check the earthing strap from chassis to engine is good.

2001 isuzu rodeo doesnt always start. new

Dirty terminals, happens all the time. Did you have the battery tested? Or just know it's OK? Did you check the water? How about the electrolytes? Get the terminals cleaned off with a wire brush, and scrape the insides, make sure they are tight. I have replaced more batteries this week, must be the weather. One was stone dead, 5 volts and still started the car?? Couldn't believe it, good car. The other 2 were dead with 12+ volts but wouldn't start anything, both got new terminals, and both got cleaned up. NO problems. Check it out. Lastly, the solenoid in the starter could be bad if everything else checks out, whack it with a hammer while turning the key, if it jumps, you found it.

Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay.
Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. See ECM GROUND LOCATION table for ECM ground location.
