There are many parts of your security system that can cause inadvertant sounding of the alarm. It could be anything from a courtesy light switch, hood switch, trunk switch or even a glass breakage sensor or a failed security module. There are no specific known problems with this particular vehicle line that I am aware of. I did perform a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) search for 2007 Toyota Camry and found no TSBs related to this problem description.
The only thing I know to tell you is that the system needs to be checked out by a trained tecnician that has the proper tools and equipment to verify all of the circuits and components involved in your theft deterrent system.

you would have to by pass the circuit in order for this to work however our abilty to start the vehicle would be compromised in the effect that this circuit also includes the neutral safety switch. i would advise not to do this. please rate this........thanks
SOURCE: Car remote lock/unlock no longer working
Check the batteries in your remote the may need replaced and if working OK check to see if you power locks work pushing the door switch. (If batteries are low they may not disengage both the alarm and the locks)

the actuator might have been disconnected from the lock, its attached inside the door, with a metal rod that clips into the actuator, check it out, might be a easy fix, good luck and god bless, please rate me!
SOURCE: can not lock car by key remote . toyota rav 4 53 plate
If your car has an alarm with a separate remote, it is a separate system and it is probably self-arming. When you lock the doors with the key central lock, the alarm gets armed by the RAV4 being OFF and the door locking action. When you unlock the doors with the key, the alarm is still armed because the key is not comunicating with the alarm just the cars factory keyless system.

This sounds like a bad alarm module, the doors unlock but the alarm doesnt shut down, so it wont let you start it because its not shutting down, the light flash and door unlock put starter disable and horn stay active, most good alarms have liftime module warranties, if you take it back to who installed it and ask them or if it was already in the car when you bought it then you will need to disable or replace it. hope this helps, also to disable it just trun key on then open a open try key off and within 10 sec push the button under the dash its a small red button this will put it in vallet mode.
