I suggest you check all the instrument panel grounds. You will need a factory wiring digrams fo rthis, so try and find a used factopry repair manual on eBay is my suggestion as fixya has no wiring dioragrams or repair manuals on file for this car
On 1990-93 Accords, tighten the bolts to 29 ft. lbs. (40 Nm) on the first pass, 51 ft. lbs. (70 Nm) on the second pass, then tighten the bolts to their final torque of 78 ft. lbs. (108 Nm).
On my 1990 Accord Lx I have the same problem. My floor pan has a hole in it some where and my carpet gets wet which gets my computer wet causeing the "S" light to flash and then when my tranny shifts it skips 2nd gear.
the motor is attached to a regulator.The regulator is basically a pulley with cable control.Have a look and see if the cable is binding or jump off the roller
