See if you have power at the motor when the switch is on. If you don't you have a switch problem. If you do, you have a blower motor problem again.

you may have a bad ground. check and make sure your grounds are clean and tight. you may have a bad resistor pack. check the voltage going into and coming out of the resistor pack, or check resistance through the resistor pack. you should have continuity, no open circuits.

try checking for a 12v feed to the motor and iam sure you will find one ,i think the problem is the earth as the earth is the one that controls the speed via the reostat and the control knob ,so if its works with an earth then its either the reostat or the control switch

check to see if there is a resistor on the blower motor. it should be located either beside or underneath the blower motor.. if that is bad it wont let you select different fan speed settings and if it goes completely out the blower will not work at all.

1989 Reatta: Motor Mechanism on the Headlamp doors do not open.

hello the only thing i can think of is that motor for the lifter is at fault, the motor has a set of switch on them to stop lifting and dropping if one of the switches has gone it will go off cog and be stuck as its a cog system you will not be able to move motor by hand. i would remove the motor and check to see if you can get it to work on a external power source. hope this helps

AC vents do not blow strong blow very weak fan running on hi

The blower motor resistor has to be changed. The part is in the wirng between the a/c control head and the blower motor.

You should take to a local shop for repairs.

Blower motor

Your blower controller has failed, It is located in the heater duct, above and to the passanger side away from the blower motor. There are two connectors that plug into it and two screws hold it in place. Other GM cars of the same vintage will use the same controller IF they have automatic air system.
