Central locking works itself

Central locking started to work itself. Heard clicking noise behind ashtray. Then stopped working. Have to manually lock doors then lock drivers door with key.

Not sure as too fault withoput a good look sorry for not giving a nice quick fixya cure but this could be the the wiring in the door pillar to the door a relay packed up in fact a 101 sort of causes and without a good look and kick it up the exhaust pipe ,swear at it then go for coffee and a ciggy and think about it i have no idea

hi this works on most voyagers disconect the possative terminal on the battery for ten minites excactly then reconnect and happy days your voyager centrol locking should work ok good luck

Hi there, this is a very common fault, you need to replace the drivers door actuator to stop the noise, ive done loads of these. hope this helps.

Hi there, this is a very common fault, what ever side door the noise is coming from you need to replace the door actuator to cure the noise, Ive done loads of these, not sure how much it is though, hope this helps.

You might have just blown the fuse, otherwise it could be the control module wiring has been damaged.

Electrical fault

Malsmed,

Does your mazda have a central locking unit in the boot? If so then follow the wiring if you can to the fuse block and see where the wiring goes into and check the problem their? If that does not solve the then check the central locking unit in the boot and the ECU unit behind the fuse box.
