Could be the starter. Check the cable from the battery to the starter. If that's o.k., on a level surface (so it won't roll very far) Pull the gear lever down in drive and try to move it forward a little. If the starter is bad the armator or the bendix may move enough to engage. Try tapping the starter lightly with a hammer. Some towns have shops that will repair a starter cheaper than you can buy a rebuilt one. Check the price first though.

2007 town and country van wont start

First make sure your battery is fully charged and in good condition. Have you ever replaced the battery?
'If the battery is Ok then it likely is a Starter motor or solenoid, reasonably inexpensive fix for an experienced mechanic. When it happened to me I had an auto-electric shop install a rebuilt starter.

Battery wont charge but has power, lights come on but it wont turn over

My first guess would be a bad connection at one of the battery posts, or a dead cell inside the battery.

My town and country's electrical system is goin haywire. the rpm and spd meter move by themselves with out even turning on the van. the key is inserted and turned enough to start the radio... and when i...

My advice would be to change the battery. The electronics in modern vehicles are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations and will act very oddly at the first hint of a charging system issue. Coupled with the clicking when trying to start, it seems very likely that your battery is bad.

Good luck.

Check the battery +12v power connection to the starter is in good order,
Check the ground connection between the battery negative and the engine/starter motor is robust and intact.
If no problem with above, replace the starter motor.

2001 chevy blazer not starting

I had this same problem with my 1997 Blazer, which required a fuel pump replacement as Nitrobike said. The sign to look for is when you get in the Blazer, turn your key forward to the accessory position, but not the start position. You should hear the fuel pump charging. It sounds like a hissing or whirring noise for about 2-3 seconds while it pumps fuel into the lines to prime the engine.

Fuel pump replacement isn't cheap, about $700-$1000.
