SOURCE: 2006 Kia Sorrento

I have had very similar problems with headlights, fog lights, and tail lights. I solved the problems with the headlights by installing HID lights a few months ago. Since that time, I have not had an issue with the headlights. I believe the problem was due to over-voltage situations with the charging system. The transformers with the HID's seem to buffer this problem with the headlights. So, the bottom line is that I spent about $65 for the HID's and I get better light output and haven't had one fail yet! HID's are available for the high beams and the fog lights as well. However, I have found that the 5000K HID's I put in have provided much better lighting that I rarely use either the fog lights or high beams. I don't think that I am offending oncoming drivers as I have not been high-beamed at all with these HID's.

SOURCE: 2006 Dodge Caravan Engine Light Blinks 10 Times & wont start

It sounds like your starter needs cleaned or replaced. The poping noise could be the actuator not engaging right. As for the engine light, it could be just a coincidence.

Hi .
unlikely to be immobiliser fault ,so check basics, try a set of jump leads or check battery voltage above 12.5,if the clicking is coming from the starter motor with a fully charged battery then suspect starter motor failure.

2011 KIA Sorrento 2.4 were is the fuel pressure regulator located. put on adjustable fuel reg .need to disconnect stock one

fuel pressure regulators are normally located in the fuel manifold. They are either vacuum controlled or electronic controlled to maintain the right fuel pressure for engine requirements and to shut off the fuel pump when the ignition is turned off
If your manually adjusted unit will not do all that then you are asking for fault codes to appear and all sorts of problems to occur

2006 kia optima key stuck in park will not release the key

Grab steering wheel firmly and turn it just a bit (try it both ways) while turning key to left. It will release the key. Sometimes you have to play with it a bit ( turn to left or right on both key and steering wheel).

Car won't shift from neutral to park

replacing transmission?????nonsence!!! i can tell this is an automatic trans setup, not standard. lets start here. put car in PARK and turn key on so the dash comes on. do not start car. step on the brake pedal several times slowly and listen for audible sound coming from the shifter area. you should hear clicking sound everytime yo uhit the brake. that is the shift lock solenoid releasing the mechanism indside of the shifter assembly so you can get the car out of park and into gear. you may have an issue with the shifter assembly it self. if no clicking sound is heard, it will need to be diagnosed fruther. the solenoid can not be purhcsed separatelly. shifter assembly only. start with the listening procedure and let me know.
