How do I find the fuse floor my door lock left side

Ok if the other windows go down then most likely you have either, 1. a bad motor 2. a bad window regulator which normally goes bad on the gm. But you will have to pull the door panel to get to the unit and check for power to the motor unplugged. You will be able to test power to it as you press the switch up or down being the current is reverse polarity as long as the key is on. Good luck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKDaoUtI-Mw

Hi I have optra car 2004 some time the right window not work up or down

A couple possible faults: 1. bad window regulator 2. Bad window switch. To check if your window motor is bad, you can run a wire from your battery to the window motor connector. disconnect the connector and touch the pins with the ends of the wire. by reversing negative and positive will power the window up or down.. If the motor moves the windown normally with this bypass, If it do not, check fuse and relay, if fuse and relay ok you may have a bad window switch.. (replace)

Window in down position and will not return to up position

Did you check the fuses in the fuse box to see if they are not burnt out? If they are ok, it could be that the window switch could be bad. If the fuses are good, and the switch is good it could be a bad connection or the window motor is bad. Hopefully this will help you. Good luck :)

Power windows stopped working and replaced the main switch but still not working . where is the fuse for the power windows?

Locate the fuse panel just to the left of your steering wheel, facing the driver's side door.

  • 2 Open the panel by pulling the cover outward. Look at the fuse listing on the inside panel of the fuse box to identify the location of the fuse you wish to replace. The location and amperage of each fuse varies slightly between all Ford Explorer models, so it's important to check the corresponding number listed on the inside fuse panel.
  • 3 Use the fuse puller in the fuse box and carefully remove the fuse for the electrical malfunction you're experiencing. Examine the fuse to see if it's blown, represented by a burned-out wire. Compare it to another fuse that works if you're are unsure.
  • 4 Discard the blown fuse and replace it with one of the same amperage. The amperage for each fuse is listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
  • 5 Replace the fuse puller and cover the fuse box. Start your Ford Explorer and check to see that the electrical issue is resolved.

My power door lock switch will not work

If none of the switches work on any of the doors, then it's a fuse/relay problem. If just one switch is the problem then check the power to the switch. Sometimes the wire harness becomes disconnected underneath the switch from slamming the doors. Hope this helps.

DRIVER SIDE BACK WINDOW WONT GO DOWN

take the door cover out .look for the door window wiring make sure you have power going down to the switch.if you do have power going to the switch, then its time to check if the power its going from the switch to the door window motor,if you have power on getting to window motor and the motor is not working, then the motor its bad need to be replace.before all of these steps to fallow.
check in the fuse box the fuse, the fuse that is related with the door window motor,it should be shown in the fuse box cap.good luck.

1998 Toyota Camry passenger window and rear windows willnot roll down. Drivers side is ok. Don't have an owners manual so I don't know where the fuse box is to check if it's a blown fuse. Could this be...

look on the drivers master control switch for windows, there should be a lock mode switch, this will lock windows when pushed down and when pushed again, allows windows to work, this is probably the problem,or master switch is bad, also can windows be used with the other switches in car?if not you probably have it locked on master switch

Driver door window will not respond to up and down switch. The window is down.

check fuses in fuse box.if fuses are good~ possibly the switch contacts are bad, or worn /dirty. most likely the window motor is bad, and requires removing the door panel and a 12 volt test light to diagnose / troubleshoot

Driver side power window doesnt work

Its possible, check underhood fuse box, the position 6, 60AMP for Power Windows

Other details can find in the Ford-Explorer-Owners-Manual (page 187 and next)

If the fuse is OK, take off the trim panel to check the windows motor, windows switch and wires.

    Hope helps (remember rated this).
