Power windows My power windows will not go down, I checked out the fuses and they were ok. Is there another fuse box, or is it possible the switch is bad?

all windows dead, not told, and and down both dead?
did not check all fuse first even the GAUGE fuse. blown?
relay marked MAIN ,is missing or not energized, if not , windows will be dead.

NO RHD HERE NOR HI ACE IN USA.

MOST CARS HAVE CB FOR THAT A LARGE AUTORESETTING CIRCUIT BREAKER .
YES THE FUSE BOXES ON RHD CARS ARE NOT LIKE LHD.

Are all windows dead for up and down.?
all door controls switches dead, for windows, left and right cab?
if yes ,sure the CB is bad.
car engine starts and runs ok
all other electrics work ok. ???? is the gauges in cluster working too?
just windows all dead?
back in 94 ,no BCM brain here, just wires ,switches and fuses. (and win motors)

get the truck serviced in a shop.the guy with a voltmeter there knows what to do .
for sure.
watch out some TOY use fuseable link for windows. get the manual first.
on some years that old. or CB.30-amp./

window motors use lots of power. all windows up (button) on ICEd up day
uses huge currents.
so the power feed has huge relay, there. called PWR relay
and a huge fuse feeding windows controls.
this current high does not pass through the ignition switch wrecking it
'it sources from PWR relay. safe and sure.

30amps rated or more. this relay and its fuse.

top right fuse a CB 30amp
the left fuse is GAUGE fuse, if blown MAIN relay is dead. 7.5amp fuse
i key on and check 12vdc at relay pin 3 below. output side.
if dead, then bad fuses or relay ,. or bad ground left.

Ok if the other windows go down then most likely you have either, 1. a bad motor 2. a bad window regulator which normally goes bad on the gm. But you will have to pull the door panel to get to the unit and check for power to the motor unplugged. You will be able to test power to it as you press the switch up or down being the current is reverse polarity as long as the key is on. Good luck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKDaoUtI-Mw

A couple possible faults: 1. bad window regulator 2. Bad window switch. To check if your window motor is bad, you can run a wire from your battery to the window motor connector. disconnect the connector and touch the pins with the ends of the wire. by reversing negative and positive will power the window up or down.. If the motor moves the windown normally with this bypass, If it do not, check fuse and relay, if fuse and relay ok you may have a bad window switch.. (replace)

Did you check the fuses in the fuse box to see if they are not burnt out? If they are ok, it could be that the window switch could be bad. If the fuses are good, and the switch is good it could be a bad connection or the window motor is bad. Hopefully this will help you. Good luck :)

If none of the switches work on any of the doors, then it's a fuse/relay problem. If just one switch is the problem then check the power to the switch. Sometimes the wire harness becomes disconnected underneath the switch from slamming the doors. Hope this helps.

take the door cover out .look for the door window wiring make sure you have power going down to the switch.if you do have power going to the switch,then its time to check if the power its going from the switch to the door window motor,if you have power on getting to window motor and the motor is not working,then the motor its bad need to be replace.before all of these steps to fallow.
check in the fuse box the fuse,the fuse that is related with the door window motor,it should be shown in the fuse box cap.good luck.

check fuses in fuse box.if fuses are good~ possibly the switch contacts are bad, or worn /dirty. most likely the window motor is bad, and requires removing the door panel and a 12 volt test light to diagnose / troubleshoot

Its possible, check underhood fuse box, the position 6, 60AMP for Power Windows

If the fuse is OK, take off the trim panel to check the windows motor, windows switch and wires.
