If it overheats quickly, you may have a blown heat gasket - if it overheats slowly, check your fan clutch - if it is worn out the fan won't turn fast enough - also check inside the radiator to see if the passages are clogged - if there is a lot of build up around the openings then you will need to replace the radiator or take it to a radiator shop and have the top removed so they can clean out the passages - also make sure there is nothing obstructing the flow of air through the radiator like leaves or paper that might have blown up from the road - good luck and have a nice day :O)

02 isuzu overheated

check your coolant level. Check to make sure your cooling fan is running, Thermostat could be an issue also. Also check water pump. To check thermostat feel top radiator hose when vehicle heats up if it gets hot your thermostat is probably working if it does not then ur thermostat is probably stuck closed and needs to be changed. If your water pump is leaking out the weep hole (small hole at neck of water pump) then you will need to change the pump because it is going or has gone out.

I have a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo. Two weeks after changing the water pump the temp gauge would show an overheating although the engine never really seemed to be overheating. It needle moves toward the red at...

this sounds like you need to put more coolent in the car if the needles moving back and forth on turns maby its low on fluid. after changing the water pump you could have a air bubble in the system that has worked its way out and now needs more fluid. i hope this helps

Overheating can not tell were it is leaking from sounds like the top half of engine help!!!

Overheating means not enough cooling due to some blockage from the cooling path.
It is not necessary to have a leak. When the coolant is stagnant, coolant is not able to flow through the water jacket, radiator by the help of the water pump then heat can't be dissipated through the radiator fins therefore engine gets overheated.
You need to check these followings.
1- Thermostat: if it is not open then you get overheat.
2- Radiator: if it gets clogs up coolant can not flow thruogh.
3- Water pump: it the bearing is broken, it can not circulate coolant to the radiator.
Hope this can help.

I need a diagram on how to change the water pump for my 1995 isuzu rodeo. We are not even sure where the water pump even is, so we would like to have a diagram showing where and how to change it.

be sure not to move the camshaft pulleys, you will have problems with the engine. df52cda.jpg I hope you serve this for something. Greetings: Carranza from Juarez City, Mexico. Have a nice day.

After replacing my water pump on my 1995 isuzu rodeo, i now have water mix with my oil

first of all change the oil or it could wreck the motor then just keep an eye on it as water in the oil usually means a blown head gasket hope this helps and good luck regards Jim
