I would not wind the watch manually. I also have a Tissot. If you cannot wear it often enough to keep it going, you can purchase a watch box that is made for self-winding watches which will turn the watch periodically in order to keep it wound.

Mine did the same thing; I read in other blogs that this could happen due to humidity. I heat up my watch with my wife's blower for about 5 minutes on high. After 5 min I couldn't even touch it! The screen went blank. After a few minutes when it cooled down the screen came back up and to my amazement all the function came back. it is risky but So far... it works well.

These babies are notorious for going down the tubes with a battery change. I bet if you get it back it won't work with a new battery. Twice I have replaced batteries and the watch didn't work when I finished. One of them was my own watch, I think $450 is about half the price of a new watch and that is sad. Cool watch just not very long life

The Problem of this error is the battery level is down and the cant work all this functions.Please Keep the watch only for time until you change the battery

Even I see the same. But I got this repeatedly to the Authorised Service Personnel of TIssot in India. But this never got fixed. Anyways thanks for the guidance. CheersMadhu

may need to be reset, re instal battery. battery life is 4 yrs.

it's not a button, it is the crown. you can pull it to adjust the time

Your watch is 12 hours out, as it "thinks" that midnight is midday.

The solution is to wind your watch forward 12 hours and then the date will change at midnight.

yes, the large second hand is for the stopwatch feature its nothing to do with the watch time.

yes this watch can be fix, just bring it to its authorized service center and i know they have something to do with your watch. price of service depends of what service or parts would be need in your watch. i hope this will help you.

first of all you need to synchronize your watch
Advice on how to synchronise your watch:



To synchronise the seconds hand (3) with an official time signal (radio, TV, Internet), pull the crown into position III ; the seconds hand stops at this point.
At the tone, press the crown back into position I (and tighten it down if you have a model with a screwed crown).

Fast correction of the date* and day*
Important : Do not set the date* and/or the day* between 10 pm and 2 am (the movement is in the process of changing the date at these times).
Pull the crown into position II and turn it clockwise until your watch display the correct date (4) and turn it anticlockwise to change the day setting (5)*. During this operation, your watch will continue to function normally, so you will not need to alter the time.
