The 2.4 spectrum only has 3 channels that don't overlap. There are a total of 14 channels in all. Channels 1,6,11 don't overlap with other devices. Set your wireless access point to 6 (strongest channel) and your phone to another non-overlapping channel (1, 11). That should solve your problem. If it does not, then one of the devices you have is not digitally tuned and is causing interference on neighboring channels. The proximity of the phone's base station in relation to the wireless access point or laptop can also have an effect especially if the spectrum is dirty. Hope this helps!

Judging from what I have seen online, this is a common problem (mine does the same). Only solution that seems to work is get rid and buy something else! Seriously. Sorry...

It seems that the handset is not linking up with the base unit. As it is a cordless phone the handset has to be on the same frequency as the base unit. Please read the User Guide and set the same frequency on both, the base and the handset. Then only it will do everything it is supposed to do.
