Could it be a thermostat proble?

Check water inlet valve (solenoid) for a clogged inlet screen and for proper operation (ensure full opening of the valve); check the main(undersink) water connection for an obstruction or partially closed valve, and check the lines/tubes throughout for obstructions - scale, collapsed line, etc.

There is probubally an sensor in the machine that senses salt levels, it is not uncommon for and sensor to be faulty out of the box, I would contact the manufacturers on their 1-800 number nd consult with them and if be order the replacement part from them directly. Hope this helps

Timer / Control If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer / electronic control.

the surge could have fried the circuit board in the dishwasher or maybe the house circuit it's hooked into. maybe first check all of your breakers in your breaker box just to be sure one of them isn't tripped
