The spindle (called a turntable shaft) sits atop a small motor shaft from the turntable motor. You either have a weak turntable motor, stripped shaft (which allows the motor shaft to free spin when it has any weight on it), or both.

The turntable motor is located under the bottom panel of the microwave oven. You do not have to uninstall the oven for this repair.

First, unplug the unit, remove the glass carousel tray, and pull straight up on the turntable shaft to remove it. Next, locate and remove the series of screws along the bottom panel underneath the oven. The bottom panel will open exposing the drive motor. The motor comes out by disconnecting the connector plug and a couple of mounting screws.

The turntable motor may be bad, if you've confirmed the switch is working. The motor is located under the bottom of the microwave and has the shaft penetrating through the bottom of the oven cavity with a drive coupler attached. The coupler is what drives the glass carousel tray. The motor can be accessed by unplugging the microwave and removing the bottom panel screws. The motor is held in by a couple of screws and two connecting wires. The coupler will lift up and pull off the motor shaft from inside the oven.

Thediode and capacitors can br tested. The capacitor must bealloweddischarge before testing, or you risk to get electrocuted, evenifpower is off. Capacitors can get discharged by shorting theirtwocontacts.
Before replacing the magnetron test also the control board.
Replace the magnetron if the checks and all of the high voltage component tests are good, but the unit still does not heat.

There's a small turntable motor under the bottom panel of the oven. You can access it by removing the series of screws holding this bottom panel in place underneath the oven. You either have a motor that is failing, or the turntable shaft which the carousel rides on, might worn and starting to slip on the motor shaft. The motor is held in with a fews screws and has an electrical connection you will need to unplug. The turntable shaft simply pulls off the shaft from this inside of the oven. I hope this helps you.
