I lost my administrative pass codes how do i reset my pass codes

Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.
  
• Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  
• Reformat computer.
  
• Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  

Obviously you can't use the Admin part, but here are your options.

You need to get the password!

Get them to unlock / give you the password. This can be more serious than expected.

Follow my steps:
Step1:Download Windows Password Reset from http://www.windowspasswordreset.net and install it.
Step2:Burn Windows Password Reset ISO file to CD/DVD,or USB.
Step3:Put in your newly created CD and remove your Windows Password.

If this in Windows password and xp, there a lot of utility to bypass or reset its password to nothing. If you can access the administrator account its password is only blank you will just hit enter. And upon entering the account change/reset your password for the user account you always use.

Try to activated the administrator account login in safemode.And login to that account if it can.

Rtrahan suggested a pass recovery program - i am guessing you cant download it because you cant log on...

i reccomend booting your computer into SAFE mode - when prompted use the user and pass as administrator.

then go to user accounts in control panel and change your main accounts password.
