Does my pc that is intel pentium dual core e2140 @1.60ghz have pci express?? Can this processor support graphic cards like nvidea 9500gt 1 gb??? or any other cards???? plse reply fast

Graphics support is mainly determine by the mother board. based on the processor you have that mother board should be equipped with a PCI express slot. in that case YES it is Supported. make shure you follow installation instructions and check that you have at least the minimum power supply requirements for the card 380W or above.
Best of luck

Can i put a graphics card for my intel D915GVWB mother board?

You can not use PCI-EXPRESS graphics cards. Only AGP 2/4X Graphics Cards Supported ( 1.5V Only) You should look for This kind of Graphics cards.

I recommend , You must try changing your Motherboard with processor and buy a graphics card ( powerful one) to play these games. Otherwise You wont enjoy any of those games you mentioned.

n.b : a common PCI-E card has 16x speed where you cannot use more than 4x on your system.

3d error show while running most of modern games/ AGP upgradation

Hi,

It takes a hell of a computer to run decent games.
My suggestion would be to save your money, to invest in a new computer setup.
if you get a quality graphics card, for example NVidea geforce 8600 or 8800gts et,c.
your system, will not have the Memory, so you,ll then be spending on RAM.
Next step will be that, your CPU isn,t powerful enough, so that,ll be upgraded. And it,s probably already at maximum or thereabouts, for the motherboard.

I always say, if you want to play good games, get a games console.
It,s much cheaper and cost effective, you can spend £700+ to get a computer to play a game, that an xbox 360 will do for £130. Think before you spend.

Unable to install game

Ur config looks gorgeous and fit to run the game. Maybe its the problem of the DVD's. Check for any scratches....try the same dvd's on a friends system if possible to see if they work and tell me..............

and next time add a comment here itself....
don't keep opening new problems...
i am having trouble finding them.

Good Luck

I am not able install games

Check the requirement specifications of the game for memory, graphics, cpu speed, all that stuff. Don't be online, turn off the security if you have to. Do a disk cleanup, defrag, and run any utilities you have to check registry, etc. Do a virus check, if you don't have virus protection, you can get a free check sometimes online.

Graphic card for gigabyte motherboard.

I just bought and installed a HIS Hightech H467QS512P Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail. I pasted this from Newegg.com. It is realy fast and is rated the best card for the money in CPU magizine this month. 80 bucks at Newegg with a free World Of Warcraft Game. PCI EXpress 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI Express 1.0 by the way.

Regarding graphics

Hey bhoot,

Are you asking about what graphic card you should get? If so, I recommend anything that's geforce 7600GT+.

I recommend nVidia because a lot of games are built for nVidia. I'm not saying ATI is bad, they are good. It's just that you'll run into artifact issues (where you see tears in graphics) with some games if you go with ATI.

Go to sites like, www.newegg.com, or www.tigerdirect.com to look for a card.

If you have PCI Express, then go with that. If it's AGP, then go with that. It's all based on what your board supports.

If you're looking to run F.E.A.R, Qauke, or Battlefield, you won't need much. I would recommend at least 128mb video on the card you choose, but if you do have PCI express, I would suggest getting a 512mb video card for future gaming.

the geforce 8600GT is a good buy too. Typicall they are around $140, they have 512mb vid and have GDDR3 memory, (good clock speed on those cards). They can run those games no sweat.

Hope this helps.

(Btw, the geforce8600GT is directx 10 compatible)
