I need to connect my phone to my computer but i have lost my cd to do that so how can i do it with out using the cd

For the computer to see the connection,the right driver for the usb cable should be installed on your computer.If you haven't done that already,
1) Connect the phone and the computer using your usb data cable
2) Now insert the software CD in your computer CD/DVD drive that came with your phone package
and run the setup to install the drivers.

Now your computer should be able to detect your phone when connected.If you have lost the CD that
came with your phone,then go to the phone manufacturer's website and you can download the drivers
from there.Hope it helped.

you need to install the drivers. they are on the cd that came with phone. if you have lost the cd or maybe never had one if handset was secondhand. then download from motorolas home/support website. just google it

If your computer does not have a CD drive then -
There are two methods.
1. Purchase or borrow an USB external CD/DVD drive connect it to the mini laptop's USB port and install the software from this drive.
2. Use a different computer and copy the contents of the CD to an USB memory stick and then plug it into the mini laptop's USB port and install the software from this USB memory stick.
OR
If you have lost the installation CD then I suggest you go to the Samsung WEB site and download the installer file for your model cell phone.

if you have usb data cable you need not the drive the computer will recognize your phone:)

Also for transferring files from mobile to computer you can connect using the usb cable and then in the phone select file transfer mode. It will make your mobile to act as a usb drive. You can open it from storage section of your computer.

One way to to put music on your phone, is by using a memory card. The Micro sd cards come with an adapter that allows you to insert it in a card reader slot. Then simply copy music into the Music folder on the card. The cards I have purchased already had music and picture folders established on them.
