Hi, You need to prise up the grill/cover that covers the speakers up and then side the keyboard up towards the screen, gently remove the plug to the Motherboard and you`re done.

How disassambel laptop medion md41700?

Model not found on support site MEDION UK Manual But laptops have small screws holding them together. And snap locks that need to be released gently. I use my finger nails or a razor blade to start pry open the release snaps. To open up a laptop after removing the screws. Each laptop is different, keyboards usually can be removed after removing any screws and prying up from the top (where the F keys are" other screws are under there for getting to the motherboard.
Cables for keyboard video differ by models and makes as well. You have to know the type of connector used for removal and re-locking when putting back togther.

How easy is it to replace the keyboard on a Medion E1210 (MSI-Wind)??

Real Easy. Just remove the power cord, remove the battery. If there are screws inside the battery compartment remove them because they will either hold the strip above the keyboard in place or they will hold the keyboard. Most times the screws that hold the keyboard will have the icon of a keyboard beside it. Look at all the screws on the bottom of the laptop and see if any of them have the icon of a keyboard beside them, if so remove that screw.

Turn the laptop over and remove the strip that is above the keyboard buy prying it off. You might need a small flat head screw driver to start getting it loose then you can use your fingers. Be careful because there might be a cable under it.

Most times the strip above the keyboard might have hidden some screws that hold the keyboard, if so remove them. The keyboard might also be held by small catches on each side. If that is so work with one side first then the other will simply come out. You might have to bend it a little to get it loose from the catches on the side.

Be careful when you lift the keyboard out, there is a cable that attaches to the motherboard under it.

I need a replacement keyboard for Medion laptop model no: MAM2100. OR MD 96327.I spilled water on the keyboard, some keys work, some don't. Want to replace the keyboard but cant find one to match. I HAD TO...

Check first for a spare on Ebay, that will be cheaper than buying a new spare, but parts for this model are difficult to find.

For example here is a RAM2000 keyboard, contact Medion to find out if it is compatible:Cybercom MD42792 Medion Ram2000 Replacement Keyboard

If you do not find a compatible part, call medion, they can supply parts and tell you what parts are compatible:Medion.com

Try also Computer parts for MEDION

In US you can also contact Quanta that distributes medion parts internationally, they are locaed in US and ask part price and availability: Contact Us

Backspace button does not work

Use the backspace in between a sentance typed on Notepad, if that works - your keyboard and key is functional. Else, you might need a replacement Keyboard. (Click on Start > Run > Notepad > OK - To open notepad)

Medion MD41349

You need to remove all the screws from the back also, then remove the cover to the rear on the bottom and remove the wireless card (make note as to connection colours) and there is 2 (I think) screws under there, then one also under the battery, then the whole top opens up.

Make sure you have removed all screws from the bottom case, including the four under the rubber feet at the rear.

This was the most awful laptop I have ever worked on!

Hey, as far as my knowledge is concerned, the battery compartment is on the backside of laptop and there is a symbol on that compartment. you just need a screw driver to open two screws and reach the RAM compartment.
Try that you will fixup your problem.
