Have you tried changing the properties of the shortcut to run in WinXP SP2 compatibility mode?
Right click the shortcut, goto properties/compatibility tab, choose "WinXP SP2 compatibility mode" in the dropdown box, then click apply.
This should solve your problem. If not, come back with a bit more detail, and it can go forward from there.

i successfully installed pop warrior within and changed compability mode to win XP . but it also doesn't works.the game is about to lunch,but it ends unexpectedly,saying 'volume,lable or syntax is incorrect' whats the solution of this problem?

I downloaded prince of persia warrior within and want to play it, but when i clicked on princeofpersia warrior within.exe, it showed that it is not a valid win32 application.

Make sure ur using windows xp
and hardware minimum requirement
then also same problam it mean ur exe is currrept try to replace ur exe file

When i open pop warrior within then my monitor became red and when i play game my monitor became red

prince of persia warrior within won't run in windows xp if you wan't to play it you need to install a new windows version like windows vista or windows 7.

I had the some problem before, I solved by this:
it is a file for prince of persia saved
copy this file and place it in Local Disk c will be asked to agree to put him in users
After that, play the game you'll find it stored for you then make a new profile Rather than that existing and put your name on it. Enjoy play

How to move forward at the windmill... i kept falling automatically even though after managing to jump successfully. the prince will walk on air in the cut scene and dies of falling. sound troubles also...

head for the exit and he should appear fast on your trail, if he doesn't you are going the wrong way.
