I have a SonyVaio VGN-CR220E, I reinstalled my O.S. and now I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate but coudn't install the Motion Eye Camera drivers and it is not working. I downloaded drivers from several websites, including Sony's Support and none worked. On my "Device Manager" the "Imaging Devices" sub-menu is not even there. I'd be glad for any kind of help. Thanks.

Look for the latest driver for your webcam for vista 32 bit. Which OS did you have before?

You need the Win7 camera driver, check sony support at:

for your computer camera driver.

Windows Vista is not the greatest at working on proprietary machines with drivers intended for XP. Can you get a driver from SONY for the motion eye that supports VISTA? I had Vista on my new machine (Dell) for all of 3 minutes before I uninstalled it and put a brand new copy of XP on. It's stable -- and works. Vista is squirrelly.
