I don't know how to convert my bugaboo cameleon from a basinette to a seat. I appear to have the necessary fabric but not the straps. It is currently a basinette and I understood it would convert easily. Must I purchase new parts?

Bugaboo is infested with to many designers with nothing better to do then play with their web site.
The manuals have good pictures on how to do it but it does take a bit of brute force to get the eyes over the stubs so find yourself a brute ;-)

The straps are available for the Bee they come as part of the seat fabric set on the Cameleon and are part of the seat frame on the Frog. www.babycare.nl/prams-strollers-spare-parts-c-34_124.htmlIf If you only need the plastic buckles Mountain Buggy sell them as parts but you need a seamstress to unpick the straps and sew them in.

No sorry Frog sets are slightly smaller and domes don't aline with the frame.

Yes it will fit. the fabric seats are not interchangeable but everything else is. Currently I have Cam wheels on my frog chassis. As well as a cameleon canopy, and a fabric flease set on my frog seat.

You can get a manual online from bugaboo. You need to remove the velco strap off the carrycot frame than fit the seat fabric onto the frame it's not too difficult. it you need more help contact me on www.buggypitstop.co.uk

HIYA.... IVE HAD ALOT OF BUGGIES AND PRAMS... IVE ALSO MADE MANY BUGABOOS UP, JUST BY USING USED PARTS AND PIECING THEM TOGETHER.

ALL COMPONENTS FROG, CAMELEON AND GECKO FIT ONTO 1 AND ANOTHER. YOU COULD BUY A FROG SEAT FABRIC TRY EBAY FOR THE CHEAPER OPTION, THIS IS EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE. THE CAMELEON 1 WOULD ALSO FIT, AS IVE HAD A CAMELEON COVER ON A FROG SEAT FRAME AND IT FITTED JUST AS GOOD :)

Are you talking about the seat fabric and putting it onto the frame?

Remove the handle bar and the metal pole from the seat frame legs to relaxe frame, put seat fabric ontop top of seat frame and fit. place one strap onto the pins at side with holes then turn seat frame onto side. use foot and weight to bring the other strap over the pins and slot into holes fasten buckle undernethe and the velco tabs.

Well the best solucion is to cross shoulder straps and buckle it like that because soon they will learn how to take them of if you don´t do these: The straps have to be criss crossed on there chest  Hope these helps

Hi, First you have to flip open the part were the baby sit on, then velcro the top colr fabric to the sides and finally flip the sit back your bottom middle seat belt shouldn't be anything in the way and it will look better.
