F61 is a secondary power supply issue causing the mechanics to jam up or the CD mechanism has jammed causing this message.

Hi, F61 is and amp error code. probably needs an output ic. could be a shorted speaker or bad cooling fan. Disconnect all speakers and turn it on. if the fans run and it still displays f61 then odds are very good an amp ic is bad.'''Hope it helped.

I have a Panasonic HT-75 codes It F61 appears. What is the problem?

I have same F61 issue, purchased a new fan fitted it today, and I have the same error code??

F 61 error means the failure of FAN
most probably dust in the fan made it to stop working so clean the dust and connect the fan to an external supply of 12v(using red and black wire) for 5 minutes and reconnect it to the unit otherwise replace the fan with new one.
Surely this will solve the problem.

f61 is a bad voltage code. I will probably need an output ic or a voltage ic.

I have gotten the f61 error code on my SC-HT700. No idea what the problem is.

The output amp pac has a problem. The F61 is indicating that the unit is in protect mode. This is a mode where the output section is shutdown to prevent further damage. Figure on $65-$95 for parts.

yes i did see this code F61  but turned off and back on and the surround and center speakers still don't work
