Are there any win 7 drivers for the canon zr70mc, or any workaround so i may upload the video from the cam to my win 7 pc

Windows 7 driver is not available for your PC Cam. The release date for this PC Cam was in 2003. I recommend you pruchase a new model. Check Amazon.com, there you'll find many new & used PC Cams reasonably priced.

There is no driver for your unit under Windows 7
Workaround :
If you are under Win 7 Ultimate or Pro or Enterprise , you can download and install a free virtual version of Win XP from : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
This is the ultimate solution to ANY compatibility problem. You just use XP mode to do operate your device then go back to Win 7 in one clic where your modern processing software is.
Under other versions of Windows 7 , you need to have the XP install disc to install a virtual version with a third party software such as WmWare Player from

Try Windows XP driver.  Use one of the USB ports or you can use the firewire port.

There is no driver for Windows 7.  Try Vista driver.

I believe there is a recall and or update for the ZR 70 contact canon tech support about this
