Grab the detector by the top and twist counter clockwise, then puu away from base. There will be a 9 volt battery you can pull out and change. If it is wired for electric, make sure wires are connected before installation. Line up slots with holes where it came off from and twist clockwise to re-attach.
Not Ready means one or more of your zones is faulted. Pressing the * key on the keypad will display the zone or zones that are faulted. A faulted zone can be a door or window open, a motion detector "seeing" movement, and so on. It will also display a description of the zone. Chime means the chime feature on the keypad has been enabled. Any perimeter or entry/exit zone that faults will cause the keypad to ding three times. You have to run a system test. enter your code then press 5. If that does not work try entering your code then press 5 then 0. it all depends on system type. let system test run for about 2-5 minutes it sould reset. Ademco 6150 6150pl3 6150pl2 these identify your keypad model not system type.check your control box to identify your panel. Sould be like Ademco vista 10, 20, 20p
