I am Ashish Kotnala and I own a Nokia 6300 handset. My issue is that I had this phone for only 2 months and the battery drains after 1 day only. I only listen to music for 15-20 minutes on it, send 4-5 texts and hardly call anyone per day. This should not run the battery down in a single day or it would? Please help me on this issue.

This isn't really a solution but Nokia are not renowned for having the best batteries. My 6300 is also after 2-3 days in need of a charge, mainly because it's searching for a Net Work. Take the thing back and change it after 2 months something is wrong. Best regards

Hii

Firstly never try to use local battery because they are not good enough and damages handset .
check your battery in other mobile if its works in other mobile then your handset need to be FLASHING ie. updation is required.
Update your handset and never use local battery always use nokia brand.

I can not switch my phone on nokia 6300

1. Remove the battery and leave it out for 5 minutes.
2. Turn the phone on after 5 minutes.

If the same problem occurs, then bring the phone to the Nokia Care Center because there's a problem on either of the following:

* Battery - battery could be defective
* Power switch button
* Firmware - Nokia might need to re-flash the firmware of the phone

Have a great day!

I need to unlock our business mobiles Nokia 6300 's on orange imei's 356437017886619 356437017877568 Do i need software, or can any of the unlock sites help. i have tried one already and they could not...

Free codes will not work... There are only 3 options to Unlock BB5 phones. Trying free codes will only waste your time and stop you from unlocking the phone in the future as you only have 3 attempts to enter the code. 1, Purchase unlock code from your original network, e.g Orange (usually £20) 2, Purchase professional equipment (not cheap) such as MTBox with BB5 NO TP activated and unlock the phone yourself 3, Take it to a decent phone shop and have them unlocked using pro equipment... Average cost about £10 2 & 3 are only possible if you have older 6300 handsets version 7.26 and above are currently impossible to unlock using any known unlocking equipment only the correct network code will unlock them, check your version by typing *#0000#

My phone is nokia 6300 i do'nt no solution enter restriction code

Enter Restriction code message is displayed on Nokia handsets, when you try to use a sim card from another network to what the phone is currently locked to...

To unlock this handset there are 2 options:-

1, You can get the correct unlock code which you just type in from the phones original Network, they will usually charge for this... FREE codes available on the net will not work for this handset and you only have 3 attempts to enter the correct one...

2, You can have it unlocked at most decent phone shops, using specialist equipment, this method is only available if you have a firmware version below 7 (I think cant quite remember) if its above that then its the new security type SL3 which is currently not unlockable using any available equipment or software... The only method is by option 1 above...

Nokia 6300 blue lcd lights staying on draining my battery

This could be a software glitch. Perform reset settings on the handset. You will not lose any date, only personalized settings will be resorted to factory defaults. If this still does not help, you would need to reflash the software on the handset.
