My West Bend Homestyle Plus bread machine makes clunking sounds when it mixes the dough. The paddles are in correctly, but seem loose on the spindles. I hadn't used my machine in quite some time (years). When I pulled it out to use it, the clunking began. I do not remember it ever doing this before. Any suggestions?

Like you, I pulled my bread machine out after several years. It clunked loudly for the first few loaves and then it settled down. It's still louder than I remember, but it seems to work fine. I try to be home whenever I use it, as I don't completely trust it. Otherwise the loaves are turning out amazingly well!

Hi,
In order to point you in the right direction I would need an actual model number of your bread maker. Here is a link to the West Bend replacement parts page. There is an link there for support. Hopefully this will give you the hep you need.

Replacement parts for all West Bend Bread Machines (and other products) are available online at Focus Electrics, which now handles the West Bend line of products.

If you do not know what model of machine you have, the model number can be found in the middle of the sticker on the back of your machine. The number will be somewhere in the range of 41026 to 41200 and it may be followed by one or letters.
