Power it down, open main door to force a realignment then power back on after 5 mins. Unplug the power cord to do this.

1 lb. sifted powdered sugar = 4-3/4 cups

Although the two names of drinks are used interchangeably, hot chocolate is a drink that's either made from real chocolate melted into milk or with packet hot chocolate powder. Cocoa powder is unsweetened and needs to be combined with sugar to create a sweeter drink.

In general hot chocolate is richer and sweeter than hot cocoa.

Hi Dont use the cleaning powder yet. Remove the group head shower and clean it with steel wool, then clean the group head where the shower sits with sfeel wool. Remove the filter fron the group handle and clean the under side. Also clean the group handle before you put the filter back in. You shouldn't use powder in these machines, but if you do, you need to put a blind filter (filter with no holes in it)in the group handle. If you dont have a blind filter, you can use foil to cover your filter. When you have done that, you need to add a 1/4 teaspoon of powder into the foil covered basket and lock the handle in the group head. Switch the coffee button on for a few seconds then off again.Domt take handle out yet. Repeat this on/off proceedure 5 or 6 times. Now remove the handle and flush out any powder that is left. Leaving the foil in place, lock the handle back into the group head and repeat the above proceedure. This fushes out any powder residue. Make a coffee and discard. Now your machine has bee back flushed. Again, i do not recomend using powder in these machines. The poder can back flow into the boiler. Just make sure you give it a good flush. Hi,

There should be an adjustable "barrier" in the drawer. One for liquid and one for powder. Open the drawer and look at it carefully, you may need a flashlight. See where you pour the powder in? Well... you know what they say about pictures and a thousand words...



Since I don't have your model number, yours will probably look different than this pic,, but it should be close enough. All you have to do is set the barrier to the "Powder" setting.
