Reprogram garage door keypad?

Seems you've done everything right. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over and key in a 4 digit code and press enter. If you are sure the battery in the keypad is good then I think your keypad is on the fritz or the wrong one for that opener.

Yes,buy the new keypad in the safe side.Probally have new Inferred signal codes by the new remote might work with the old keypad.

There is no manufacturer code or every crook in town would know it but it is easy to set your own.

On the back of the motor unit just to the left of all those white wires you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit PIN of your choice and press enter

Press and immediately release the SRT button and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

MOST OF THE WIRELESS KEYPADS YOU DON'T NEED THE OLD CODE TO PROGRAM A NEW ONE.
JUST PRESS THE LEARN/PROGRAM BUTTON AND RELEASE YOU NOW HAVE 20 SECONDS FOR HER TO PUNCH IN THE CODE SHE WANTS AND PRESS AND HOLD ENTER. THE NEXT TIME SHE PRESSES THE BUTTON THE DOOR SHOULD WORK.

NOTE IT WILL WORK FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS AFTER ENTER IS PRESSED THE FIRST TIME. AFTER THAT YOU NEED TO RE-ENTER THE CODE AND PRESS ENTER.
