My crosley front loading dryer says LOC and won't start. What do I do?

I understand your washer is not working and flashing LOC; however, I see that your question is listed under Frigidaire FEX831CS (Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer). This specific laundry center does not have a digital display. May I please have your model number? You can typically locate the serial tag, on the upper front as you open the door.


In the meantime, if you have a front load washer, I suggest pressing OPTIONS and SELECT at the same time and hold for approximately 15 seconds until "LOC" is no longer displayed. I hope this helps!

Shut power off to dryer at breaker. Pull the two wires to thermostat off terminals. Using electrical tape wrap around wires to join them. This will bypass your thermostat. Turn power back on. Start dryer. If it heats your thermostat is faulty. If it doesn't heat it is most likely your heating element.

It means the control is locked to avoid having someone accidentally start or stop the dryer. Press and hold the Options and Select buttons for 10 seconds or until the “LOC” on the display is cleared. Locking the control is done the same way it is unlocked.

"LOC" indicates that the control panel settings are locked. Press the SELECT and OPTION button simultaneously to toggle this 'feature' on or off. This will fix the issue.

If it is a front load machine, you need to remove the front of the machine.
When you do this it will expose the drum and belt

Have you called Daewoo Customer Service they make this product for Crosley the number is 877-393-7823 Also have you checked to see if anything is stuck in the pump.
