Call your cell phone coverage company codes vary in Sim cards they are not the same or bring it to the cellphone coverage store close to you(example:att,cricket,t mobile,etc)who ever is your coverage company is the one you have to go through they do this to prevent fraud.

try to update using www.updater service.sony ericsson

Take the phone to you cell providers store for warranty service it is probably a factory defect.

bought unlocked 580i put sim card in and it recognised it but still no network coverage

yes it must be a device problem give it to an autherised dealer for srevice.

This is a curcuit problems. It is not detecting anything. Servicing is advised

in nokia 2600, sim active but no signal and no network coverage.

your phone must be an imported one if not contact your mobile vendor and have an unlock

It is better to replace your phone with new one as you have bought recently. contact your retailer.
