The manufacturer made it specifically for use with Imacs, and it seems that it only works with them. If you do not have a mac, I wouldn't waste money buying a replacement power supply. I don't understand why it would only work with macs, but I looked it up, and amazon sells it as Mac Only.

Try openoffice.org - it is a free open source office suite. It can write and read all microsoft office formats and it is totally free. Rather than trying to find a pirated version of Microsoft Office. Try OpenOffice, and save up money to buy MS Office if you decide you still need it that badly.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Thoses sets have alot of problems. Personally,I don't fix them any more because they just don't hold-up to repairs and one thing after another go bad on these sets. Most notable is the small digital "daughter board" on the left side of the set. It slides on the main board on edge like memory for a computer. Those are $350.00 if you can find them. Don't waste your money on this set...please!! I've been a T.V. repairman for over 20 years. Put your money elsewhere....and buy an extended warranty!. Stick with Hitachi,Pioneer,Panasonic,Sony or the real Sharp sets. Sharp used Funai for the low end sets. Nothing lasts anymore,but with the above mentioned sets,atleast you have a chance on getting service/support when trouble comes. Most everything else is disposable...no parts available. Do your homework before buying and don't EVER buy "Made in China".
