My wife inherited a shoprider scooter, but I am not exactly sure how to remove the battery as there was no manual with the scooter. I am not even sure what model it is because the decals are worn off. the closest I am able to quess is that it is an older model XL4 Delux. The only decal I could find was Limited Edition.

You can try pressing the reset button, or disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.

Shoprider ECHO 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter. The driven wheels turn for a second, but then clicks out.

Question edited for a lot more clarity.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Make model category.

Is it tripping the breaker? If so it is likely an issue with the motors or the controller.

Circuit Breaker (Reset Button)
Your scooter is fitted with the latest in electronic controls that are programmed to protect
the electrical system from abnormal overloads. Provided for extra protection is a circuit
breaker, located on the battery pack. Should there be a situation where your scooter stops
for no apparent reason, please check that the circuit breaker has not popped.
NOTE: To preserve battery charge, your scooter may go into sleep mode after being idle for
a few minutes. To remove from sleep mode, turn the scooter switch off and back on again.
Check List
If your scooter fails to operate, please check the following:
• Unit is switched on.
• Drive/Freewheel mechanism is in the drive position.
• All plugs and connectors are clean and firmly connected.
• Battery level shows full charge.
If the free wheel device has been operated with the scooter switched on, then the scooter
will not operate until the ignition key has been switched off and then on again.
Please consult your dealer if your scooter does not run after checking these points.

My scooter seems to be locked it will not go it has aa good charge

my wife has a Shop Rider that looks like yours. It had a problem at a football game on Saturday, where it would not go. She removed a pile of coats and blankets from the handlebars and it worked. I'm not sure why it behaved that way. I googled Shoprider and downloaded a manual a couple of years ago. That may help. My manual says there is a circuit breaker under the rear cover accessable through a hole under the seat.

I don't know how to remove old batteries to install new batteries in Shoprider Scootie TE-787NA power scooter. I can't lift them up after I remove batteries cover. I can't find it in manual.

Not familiar with that make and model, but we often find that batteries just plain get stuck due to gunk on the battery pan. If you do not see a strap or hold down or anything, try wiggling them to see if that frees them up.

If you have misplaced your Owners Manual, here is a link to one. It may not be the exact model you have (as, your Model # was not recognized), but they all work pretty much the same way.

I need a new battery and charger and every where I have called either pushes me off to some plaace else that doesn't answer or a place never calls me back. Where can I get these items?

The type of batteries required by your scooter are 12volt 10 Amps, you will need two of them. They can most likely be purchased at any industrial battery store like Interstate Battery or Batteries Plus. For the charger, you will most likely need to contact Shoprider direct OR a licensed distributor of Shoprider products for that to make sure that the charger will fit into your scooter. Shoprider Mobility is 1-800-743-0772. Another company that sells Shoprider products and may be able to assist you is Marc's Mobility at 800-677-6293.
I hope this information is helpful- good luck!
