1st You download Webcam Driver.
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
You can download driver from bottom link.

it should work just fine. just install the software that came with it. actually, it should work with any laptop or desktop with USB 2.0 ports and XP or newer, and not just HP.

however you should Google it to make sure XP drivers do exist because there is the SLIGHTEST chance it has some obscure chip in it that only Vista has drivers for.

How i install the webcamera
The only advise I can give you is to contact HP phone support.
800-HP invent. They don't claim to have any webcam and their is not support for them on the website. I did a search of HP's website and all I found was Logitech webcams. Hopefully they can properly direct you. Sorry for the bad news.
