Jane Powertwin pro - how do i fix the raincovers on to car seats

Hi,

When you are using the carseats (Rebel or Strata I expect) then make sure that the carseat handles are in the upward postition (as they would be when you carry them) the handles will then support the raincover.

Hope this helps.

How do i attach the rebe car seat to the powertwin

i had one of these about 5 years ago, you need a set of carseat adaptors that plug in somewhere near the canopy attatchment, possibly they go in where the canopy does( you can't use at the same time)
the seat needs to be laid back so flat if you want car seat on back or if on front you need to push seat forward instead .
hope this helps if not go to jane website and download instructions for use.

How do i turn the front seat on the jane powertwin?

The front seat on the Powertwin does not turn. It only reclines by lifting the handle in the seat back. I rear facing Jane Rebel car seat can be fitted in place of the front seat using special adapters

Popped tire on Jane Powertwin

Yes, all you need is a 12" inner tube which you can get from most bike stores. It would normally fit a childs bicycle but it is the same size as the Jane rear wheels. If you take the wheel with you, you might even get them to fit it.

Don't know how to put Jane powertrack seat into

there is a small metal handle behind each seat, pull it up while you move the seat into the recline position you want - rear seat has four positions, front seat has two. :) Jan.

Jane powertwin carrycot/car seat

Hi,

With the Powertwin, you can only use the Rebel carseat. With the newer model 'Pro Generation' Powertwin, you can use the Strata carseat also.
It sounds like you have a non-pro version, so you should only use the Rebel Non-Pro carseat. You would normally get the adapters with the Powertwin (one set is grey and one set is black, you get both with the pram) but if you don't have these, you can contact www.johstonprams.co.uk who will sell these to you.

I hope this helps.

Jane Powertwin

This is exactly what my husband did to our powertwin just 6wks into using it he managed to twist it slightly back into position and it holds so we have just put up with it but my god was I pissed at him! I was told it could be repaired by replacing the seat unit by a local pram shop but this seemed expensive we have managed with it like this for a yr no problems hope this helps.
