My nokia n70 when charging, the battery expanded and damage the battery. when i send it to the shop, the technician informed me that the defect is on the motherboard and told me that it cant be repaired anymore. is it true?

For n70 model that have two reason made it no display. 1 : display IC damage. 2 : the display has damage. the both pro above u need send for technician replace.

hi :) have your phone has been water damage ?? most after water damage,phone mother board's charging piont will be pro,tat only way u can do,pls send to mobile shop for repair it.

Hi, this sounds like its had liquid damage at some point. if not then it would need to go to a phone repair shop for professional service, but its not expensive.

Friend, since it appears that way eventhough the batt is new. As a mobile phone technician i diagnose base from my experience that the problem of your phone is not the battery but the power supply I.C. called CCONT. It is needed to be replaced or resolder especialy if it is shorted.You need mobile technicians to solve this problem. good luck

is your charger defective?

its either your battery or charger, if one of them are defective your phone won't charge,. . .

try to insert your battery to another phone with the same kind of model or battery in use,, , , , ,
if your battery will work on the other phone then buy another charger , , if it won't work try to buy anothr battery

if the unit has really a software problem, the unit OS must be formatted and reinstalled with a new copy of OS..

Actually when you want to switch on your phone, but it's not turned on,but when you charge the phone, the battery indicator goes up, it just mean one thing : YOUR ON-OFF SWITCH is broken!!

so how to replace this on off button? well, if you can, open the casing of your phone. you'll see the real on-off switch below the usual on-off button we have on the casing. press it. Good luck ^^

Btw if you have no luck pressing the real on-off switch, replace it, bring it to technician. It shouldn't cost you more than 10usd if you told them to problem (if you didn't tell them, they'll say, oh your IC got broken, oh your phone will cost much on the fixing, oh this oh that, they'll **** your money..). Just said, hey, my on-off switch got broken, please fix it.

You can get my head cut-off if I' wrong.. haha, I'm pretty sure that's the problem.. well there's a little case of broken circuit that might cost you much more, but shouldn't be more than 20usd too ^^ Good luck
