Hey
since the phone is ringing and you are able to dial the mother board is intact. you dont need the display i will send the sequence of keys to be pressed which will lead to copying of the contacts to the sim.
then you can put the sim in a different phone and view them.

menu( center button in the joystick key)
up (in joystick key)
center button
center button
top left button( above the call key)
up (in joystick key)
center button
top left button( above the call key)
down(in joystick key)
center button
center button

now it will start copying all the contacts to your sim.
wait for a minute or two
and then you have the contacts copied to your sim.
b4 copying clear the sim so that it has enough memory to copy all your contacts

hope it helps

Nokia 6300 China Version Broken LCD

Hello ambulancemeb,

The only way you can get a replacement screen is to buy one off of ebay,if there is one available. Cell phones are meant to be thrown away when damaged like that so replacement parts are not easily accessible.

If you do find one, you more than likely will not be able to replace it without damaging the phone further. It is recommended that you either bring it to a repair shop to have it replaced, or to replace your phone.

Sorry about your misfortune, thank you for choosing FIxya!

Leaking screen

Sounds like your LCD is bleeding. Your Nokia is not exactly made to with-stand military inspections, but in your case I think your device needs to be replaced. Any pressure caused to the LCD can ruin it completely. Sorry, hope this information helps.
