Those direction are not accurate all the time, I usually prime mine 4-6 times. put mine on full choke with the trigger pressed and pull 1 time any more will usually flood it, If you have the choke that kicks off after you press the trigger, put the choke back on to half and pull the cord pressing the trigger, Then pull the cord until it starts without pressing the trigger. As before if you press and hold the trigger during the start it will flood these trimmers..This should start the trimmer. You may have to let the trimmer set for about 15 min if it was flooded.

I have a Defy electrologic laundromaid 1300 washing machine that the cold water runs in even when the machine is switched off.

Your solenoid operated valve is stuck open on the cold side. To find this valve, follow the cold water inlet hose and it will lead you directly to it.

Bought the upgrade for my Futura, I have a HP laptop with windows 7, I installed it according to directions and it tells me it failed to initialize security and will not even open up.

Number 1, go out to the Futura support site at www.Futura-support.com and download the patch for Windows 7. On the left hand side of the screen, click on Downloads, then CE100/150/250/350,etc, etc. Make sure you follow the directions CAREFULLY. Also, be sure to completely UNINSTALL all of the Futura software you've already installed and reboot your computer before starting all of the instructions.

If this gives you any problems, I've posted a solution under the CE100 solutions area for running your machine with Windows Vista/7 using a virtual machine program. It's a lot more steps than using the patch, but some people do still need to go this route. Look for it on the CE100 Solutions/Problems home page. Still, you should be fine just with the patch.

Happy embroidering!

I have a Singer model 9910 and am not able to make a buttonhole on the setting for #61. The buttonhole seems to be inserted properly and the foot is lowered but the machine just beeps and will not sew.

Re your buttonhole foot - please note the following:

- This foot comes with a metal underplate.

- Place the fabric between the foot and the underplate.

- I am assuming that you have the buttonhole lever pulled down.

-Note: The silver coloured buttonhole lever is directly behind the needle threader. Pull it all the way down.

-When u have all the above in place, start the buttonhole. When it finishes the first side, gently push the foot back, so it reverses. I know this sounds strange, but if you have slightly bent the underplate you will need to do this.

- The directions are in the manual on page 60.
