My sony ericsson W995 wont turn on and when i plug in the charger the red camera light comes on

That only means that you got battery problem of your phone. Replace the phone battery with a new one. If your old sony ericson phone battery can be fit to your w995 then you can try to use it.

same thing happened to me
you must update your software with latest sony drivers for w995
go to sony ericcson update service

The battery might be drained so wait a little longer before turning it on.
You can try though to plug the charger then try to turn on the phone.
The power button is located in the same location of the clear button.
You might need to press a bit harder and longer until you see the screen light up.
